Our playground mulch is ASTM and IPEMA certified mulch.  The IPEMA certification simply means that this specific material can provide more cushioning and thereby can be safer for children than standard mulch. This certification ensures that when mulch is installed at 6", you should be able to absorb shock from up to 6 feet, ideal for schools, churches and home playground sets. 

 

This playground mulch is also ASTM certified, which ensures that the chemical and mechanical properties are safe for all.  We sell our mulch to multiple wake county public schools, municipalities and churches around the triangle area.
