Our Bermuda grass comes from Oregon. Bermuda grass is more sensitive to cold temperatures which is why is goes dormant and turns brown in the cooler months but stays green year round in frost free environments. It also has one of the fastest growth rates of many of it's warm season grasses. 

 

Bermuda also is very heat and drought tolerant, which is why it is often the preferred grass for yards in the transition zone in southern states across the united states.
